Books -Fiction

•American Gods by Neil Gaiman
• Dance Dance Dance by Haruki Murakami (I love Haruki Murakami he's one of my favourite writers, but I find a lot of the sexual violence of underage girls too much to bear and I think it borders on fetishing it in places. Dance Dance Dance is not free of it, 13yo Yuki is sexualised by the narrator and there's largely unessecary violence against sex workers.)
• The Guernsey Literary Club and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Schafer and Annie Burrows
• Jasper Fforde's work, particularly the Thursday Next Series.
•Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami (see above but it's fascinating and there's a relatively progressive depiction of a gay trans man in 2002) • The Lionboy Series by Zizou Corder (It's for kids but it's still good, it was my favourite growing up)
•Ray Bradbury, I prefer his short stories to the novels like Farenheit 451 which is good but I didnt exactly enjoy it.
•Tamora Pierce, particularly her Alana and Circle of Magic series.
•Sherlock Holmes Series by Arthur Conan Doyle
• Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut (I'm basic, I don't care it's a good book)
